Tracey's New Beetle - Buster

This was my wife Tracey’s New Beetle, “Buster,” was in and out of the workshop for regular work.

Since Tracey bought the car, it has been lowered. We chose Eibach 35 mm springs as I had previously used these on other New Beetles with great success. The bump-stops were also modified to stop the car from crashing and banging over bumps.

Tracey’s bug looked great low, but there was still something missing…wheels! I fitted some 17" wheels and tyres sourced from one of the many parts suppliers I use. They suit the car and add to its overall aesthetics.

Other than these modifications, I perform the car’s normal routine servicing and maintenance. I have recently changed all the brakes for new standard discs and Pagid uprated pads.

It’s not just me who works on this car – while it was in the workshop Tracey decided to upgrade Buster’s badges to the much nicer US spec ones. I’m sure you’ll agree that it looks much better for this change.
