I ended up married because of this car.

Tracey brought her mk2 Golf 16v to me with a list of problems. The main issue was a radiator that leaked like a sieve. I replaced this with a new VW radiator and at the same time replaced the cable ties that were holding it in with the correct clips. As time went on I did more and more work on the car. I replaced all the water hoses with uprated Samco silicon hoses and ended up with the very tricky job of replacing the steel water pipe that runs across the front of the engine with a brand new VW item.
