My own Cars
Over the years, I have built various cars for myself, and this page shows a few pictures of my own personal transport.
I bought the yellow Golf cabrio as a standard car and slowly improved and modified it to the condition you see in the pictures. This car was featured in a magazine in 1999.
I built the orange Beetle for some fun at the drag strip. I restored and then modified this car. I also fabricated all of the interior aluminium work, rear spoiler and roll cage myself. The car is powered by a 2.2-litre beetle engine with a turbocharger – yes, it is great fun! This car has also been featured in a magazine.
The orange mk1 golf pictured below is the car for which I am best known and my favourite of all the cars I have owned and modified. The car started off as a bit of a dream and after three years and a lot of time and money I realised that I had got carried away. As you can see from the pictures, the car is “special.” To date, it has won a whole bunch of trophies and has been featured in magazines all over the world.
These three vehicles will give you an idea of just how far I could take your project.
