Alex's Bug

Alex's bug is parts of the back to 89 club, these are a group of old show cars that have been brougt out to play again, and in the case of alex's brought band up to date.

It first came to Dubz-by-Dan for a small bit of welding before Alex had it painted. Dubz-by-Dan also converted the rear valance so that it is removable for easy acess to the engine for when Alex takes it drag racing in the VWDRC ( www.vwdrc.com ). This year it came back for a serious engne rebuild.

Dubz-by-Dan stripped Alex's old 1641cc engine and threw away all the boring bits and made it into a fire breathing 1914cc engine, with a load of new goodies. The engine was installed along with a new electric fuel pump, exhaust, fuel pressure regulator and new fuel and oil lines throughout.
